Margo’s Got Money Troubles by Rufi Thorpe

Format & Condition: Paperback, Like New
Genre: Contemporary Fiction; Literary Fiction

Twenty-year-old single mother Margo Millet needs to pay the bills, and conventional options are failing her. With an unexpected assist from her former professional-wrestler father, she starts an OnlyFans account and discovers a talent for creating an online persona, even as success complicates her family life and other people’s judgments intensify.

Adapted into an Apple TV series starring Elle Fanning, this novel earned enthusiastic praise from Nick Hornby in The New York Times Book Review. I recommend it for its irreverent humor, tender approach to imperfect families, and sharp questions about motherhood, money, and who gets to control a woman’s story.
