From the bestselling, award-winning author of The Berry Pickers, this novel has earned praise from Publishers Weekly and Booklist for its portrayal of Indigenous culture and generations of women. I recommend it for its strong women, rich sense of place, and moving exploration of family, cultural inheritance, and resilience.
